CREDO is deeply committed to promoting entrepreneurship and skill development among rural farmers as a sustainable pathway to livelihood enhancement and self-reliance. Understanding the evolving needs of rural communities, we designed and implemented training and capacity-building programs tailored to local contexts, with a strong focus on practical knowledge, business development, and market-oriented skills.
Through these initiatives, farmers are trained in traditional agricultural practices and value addition, agro-processing, financial literacy, packaging, branding, and marketing strategies—essential components for transforming farmers into rural entrepreneurs. These skilling programs are often integrated with technology interventions to increase efficiency and ensure competitiveness in local and regional markets.
CREDO has actively collaborated with various institutions, experts, and community-based organizations to reach marginalized groups, especially women, youth, and smallholder farmers, fostering inclusive development. Success stories have emerged from sectors such as livestock, dairy, spices, black rice, and handloom where trained individuals have gone on to establish micro-enterprises or cooperatives, generating employment within their communities.
By nurturing entrepreneurial thinking and offering continuous support, we aims to create a vibrant rural economy where farmers are not just producers but also owners and drivers of change in their development journey.
